Since 1991, Paul has entered homes across Los Angeles with a singular mission: to enhance every floor he encounters. What began as a one-man operation in Westchester has evolved into a trusted family team serving the South Bay, all while maintaining the handshake-first, do-it-right-the-first-time philosophy that has defined our journey.

We offer a comprehensive range of services, from wide-plank white oak installations to sanding and refinishing, luxury vinyl, and laminate. Our team supplies materials and manages installation, ensuring one accountable crew handles every project. We are licensed, bonded, and insured (Lic #828736) and provide a written one-year workmanship warranty.

While hardwood flooring is our specialty, we also provide and install luxury vinyl plank, laminate, and cork. Additionally, we offer sanding, refinishing, repair, and leveling services for your existing floors. Our process includes bringing samples directly to your home, and our skilled team manages all aspects of preparation, materials, refinishing, and cleanup from start to finish.

    Paul walks the space, measures every room, and reviews your goals, timeline and species preferences. Accurate measurements up front prevent material shortages and change orders later.

    2. Subfloor prep & moisture check

    The subfloor is cleaned, leveled and moisture-tested. Wood moves with humidity, so planks acclimate on site and we confirm a dry, flat base — the difference between a floor that stays quiet and one that gaps.

    3. Precision installation or refinishing

    Planks go down with staggered seams, expansion gaps at the walls, and fastening or glue per the manufacturer's spec. Refinishes are sanded back to bare wood in progressive grits for an even canvas.

  4. Applying a protective finish coat to a freshly sanded oak floor

    4. Sanding, staining & protective finish

    Final sanding, optional stain, and multiple coats of a durable finish — oil- or water-based polyurethane, or hardwax oil. Proper cure time before the furniture goes back protects the finish for years.

My living room was partly red oak and partly carpet. The carpet was worn out. Paul removed the carpet to find a large crack in the concrete slab, which he repaired.   • No. Hardwood is where we started in 1991, but we supply and install every major flooring type: solid and engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, tile and luxury vinyl tile (LVT), cork, and carpet. We also sand and refinish existing wood floors, do repairs and subfloor leveling, and build custom stairs and hand railings.
